Ralph Lawson commenced in the finance industry in 1971, his experience in the finance industry has been gained in all aspects of retail and commercial finance with various finance and banking institutions.
In 1989 Ralph established this business known then as Ralph Lawson & Associates. Current structure RLA Finance commenced in 2001 with new partner Mike Steel coming into the operation.
Mike Steel commenced in the finance industry in 1983. During this period he developed experience in all facets of lending whilst working with various banking / finance institutions.
Prior to joining RLA Finance Mike was based in Papua New Guinea where his role was to develop a lease finance business division for the ANZ Bank for the P.N.G. market. Upon completion of this role he returned to Townsville.

Since completing his university studies in Commerce and Economics in 1993, Steve has gained extensive banking and lending experience in the finance and banking industry.
In 2004 Steve joined the RLA team to develop the RLA Property Finance department which now enables all aspects of our clients financial needs to be handled by our professional staff.
With 18 years of experience in all areas of equipment and property finance, Steve understands how the banks operate and structure loans to best suit our clients needs.
